This is a preliminary build of TrueCrypt for Nokia Internet Tablets running OS2008. Before installing the software please note the following -
It seems to work correctly, but I have no means of proving that it is either secure or won't harm your tablet.
To use this build you will need to enable "red pill" mode and be able to "sudo gainroot".
The software has only been tested against the default Nokia kernel, if you have a custom kernel, it may not work.
Install both of these applications
Create a secure volume using TrueCrypt (easier on a PC) see
Then in xterm do something like this -
$ sudo gainroot
# insmod /usr/share/truecrypt/kernel/dm-mod.ko
# cd MyDocs/.documents
# mkdir secure
# truecrypt /media/mmc1/secure.tc secure
DO NOT REMOVE THE SD CARD WITHOUT RUNNING truecrypt -d FIRST!
